At 1910 Publishing Co., we are dedicated to producing works of exceptional quality that serve the emergency management, homeland security, industrial, and response communities. Our authors are not just writers—they are specialists with real-world experience and active involvement in their respective fields. We pride ourselves on staying current, publishing books that tackle the pressing issues these communities face today.

The name “1910 Publishing” is deeply rooted in history, inspired by Theodore Roosevelt’s famous 1910 speech, “Citizenship in a Republic,” often referred to as the "Man in the Arena" speech. Delivered in Paris, this speech came at a time when the United States was emerging as a global power, grappling with the challenges of industrialization, social change, and international influence. Roosevelt’s words celebrated the virtues of those who step into the arena, daring greatly despite criticism and failure, embodying the spirit of perseverance and courage.

Founded in 2017 by E. G. Weiss, Jr., 1910 Publishing Co. was created to be an outlet for those who, like Roosevelt’s “Man in the Arena,” have something valuable to say, something meaningful to offer, but have often been held back by public opinion or outdated policies. This company is a platform for those who stand in the arena, sharing their knowledge and experience in a no-nonsense, practical manner.

1910 Publishing Co. is committed to maintaining a non-political stance. We focus solely on delivering content that preserves the integrity of our writers, ensuring that topics are addressed in a practical, no-nonsense manner, offering unparalleled insight into critical subject matter.

Although 1910 Publishing Co. primarily serves as an in-house publisher, collaborating with a select group of consultants, we welcome submissions from authors who are experts in the aforementioned fields. If you have a manuscript you'd like to share, please visit our CONTACT US page to start the submission process. We look forward to discovering your contributions.

Our goal is to foster a community of readers who share common interests, goals, and responsibilities related to homeland security, emergency management, mitigation, and response.
