The name 1910 Publishing is rooted in Theodore Roosevelt's historic Citizenship in a Republic speech, better known as The Man in the Arena. Roosevelt did not celebrate those who watched from the sidelines. He honored those willing to accept responsibility, endure criticism, face uncertainty, and continue moving forward despite setbacks.
