E.G. Weiss, Jr. is a veteran emergency management consultant, threat analyst, and author with over four decades of experience in the field. Starting his career at the age of 19, Weiss has become a respected authority on All-Threat/All-Hazard incident management, comprehensive contingency planning, and effective training and exercise programs. As the founder of E.G. Weiss & Associates and the Director of Business Development at VirtuSafe, Weiss has led numerous large-scale emergency operations and has been instrumental in advancing the integration of technology, such as Virtual Reality, into risk assessments and training.
Known for his no-nonsense, slightly irreverent approach, Weiss is deeply passionate about consequence mitigation and emergency management history. He is also a sought-after speaker, having participated in countless speaking tours nationwide. Weiss’s work has earned him four awards for his contributions to emergency response education from four different U.S. Presidents. His dedication to the field is reflected in his many publications, where he continues to challenge conventional thinking and inspire innovation.

Jonathon W. H. Weiss

Jonathon W. H. Weiss, also known as "Hawke," is a multimedia specialist and tech innovator with a diverse background in emergency management, website design, and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) technology. He began his career in multimedia and website design in 2016, founding JonnyUAV with his father, E.G. Weiss, to develop elevated drone landing platforms and drone safety protocols. Jonathon's expertise extends to creating educational programs and curating the National Health and Public Safety History Museum, which traveled across the U.S., providing valuable insights into the history of first responders and medical practices.
Jonathon is a certified Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 Remote Pilot and Texas State Emergency Medical Technician, bringing a unique blend of technical skill and emergency response knowledge to his role as the Media Specialist at Zentech, Inc. His work in multimedia has supported over 15 states and includes contributions to independent films, Netflix series, and large corporate video shoots. With a passion for innovation, Jonathon continues to push the boundaries of technology in public safety and emergency management.

Madison Salvati is a seasoned copy editor and creative writer with a deep passion for storytelling and content creation. With a degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University, Madison has honed her skills in various forms of writing, including landing pages, blogs, articles, and press releases. Her experience spans hundreds of projects, making her an expert in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.

She manages a team of content writers, producing over 40 landing pages a month, in addition to a steady stream of blogs, bios, and press releases. Madison’s expertise extends to SEO, copywriting, and navigating the complexities of Google Ad restrictions. She is also adept at ghostwriting and editing, bringing out the best in her clients' voices and stories. Madison’s creative flair and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset to the 1910 Publishing Co. team.

Emily Fay is a Public Information Officer (PIO) with a degree in communication and a strong background in emergency management and response. Known for her ability to communicate effectively under pressure, Emily has become a trusted voice in times of crisis. With years of experience in government and law enforcement communication, she has honed her skills in media relations, crisis communication, and public outreach.
Emily's partnership with E.G. Weiss, Jr. on various projects, including the book *The Challenges of Being a Public Information Officer*, has showcased her deep understanding of the unique challenges PIOs face in today's socio-political climate. Her work reflects a commitment to transparency, accuracy, and the public good.
